In Good Taste Suite

Hello everyone.  Today I am featuring my new favorite stamp set.  I was able to order this set on the pre-order for the new catalog.  In Good Taste Suite has a stamp set, set of coordinating dies, 3D embossing Folder and wooden elements for embellishing your creations.  I sat down with the paper and the stamp set and created 8 cards from with one sheet of 12 x 12 piece of the fabulous designer series paper.  Since the paper is double sided, it was easy to create many different look.

For this card I used Early Espresso and Old Olive Classic Ink and Light Petal Pink Blend Marker.  I stamped off with the Old Olive with the foliage and used the 3D embossing folder for my piece of designer series paper.    I really like the way this card turned out.  Take a look at the video to see how easy this was made.

The Designer Series Paper features these colors in the paper design.  You can pop your own color in there for a dramatic look.
Basic Gray
Early Espresso
Gray Granite
Night of Navy
Petal Pink
Rococo Rose
Smoky Slate

Here is the “Recipe” for the featured card.  The list of featured products is at the bottom of this post.

Early Espresso card stock cut 8 1/2″x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ (Card Base)
Whisper White card stock 2 pieces cut 4 x 5 1/4″
In Good Taste DSP cut 4″ x 2 1/2″ (I used woodgrain)
Stamped Flower image in Early Espresso on a piece of scrap Whisper White.  I colored the flowers with the Light Petal Pink & Light So Saffron blends and fuzzy cut both flowers.
I ran the DSP through the embossing folder.  I stamped the foliage in Old Olive on the Whisper White with stamping off technique as well as full strength ink on the stamp.  Adhere the DSP to the Whisper White card stock across the front in the middle.  Before I adhered the layer to the card base, I wrapped with Linen Twine and them tied a double bow.  I used mini glue dots to adhere the wood element leaves.  I also used a piece of scrap Whisper White with the Die shape for the sentiment for the front.  I used a sponge dauber to antique the edges of the sentiment. Pop sentiment and both flowers up with stampin’ dimensionals.

Here are some other cards that I made this this set.
