Stampin’ Up! Extraordinary Flora Showcase

August 8, 2025 by Patience Holt Leave a Comment

8 Aug

Welcome back to my Blog today. This week I have been working with a wonderful stamp set & coordinating dies. It is one of our best sellers AND it is in the Annual Catalog. I used the Stampin’ Up! Extraordinary Flora stamp set bundle to create a lot of fun cards. Check them out.

MEASUREMENTS FOR THE ABOVE CARD

  • Granny Apple Green card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White card stock 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Pecan Pie card stock 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″
  • Pool Party card stock 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″
  • Irresistible Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper 4-1/4″ x 3″
  • Pastel Ombre Glimmer paper 2-3/8″ Circle Punch
  • Basic White card stock 1-3/4″ Circle Punch
  • Extraordinary Washi tape over Basic White card stock and die cut

I made this card during my Facebook live last night (I shared the video below). I used the same technique as the last post – started by using my blending brush with Granny Apple Green on to our fabulous Irresistible Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper. It has UV-coated patterns that resist ink, making it perfect for emboss-resist techniques. Just apply ink to it and the pattern pops out. It’s the easiest way to get a heat-embossed look—no embossing powder or Heat Tool needed!

I simply Inked it up and then used a tissue to wipe away excess off of the coated surface. Love the embossed look.

I applied a piece of Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape to a panel of Basic White card stock and then Die Cut the panel with the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Dies.  I adhered several of the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to complete the simple look of this card.

Here is a different look using Pecan Pie and Summer Splash colors for contrast. What do you think?
