Sunflower Rolodex Cards

I loved making these rolodex cards.  I have never done this type of craft before because I always used the rolodex in my office many many years ago.  When a friend suggested that we do a Swap of decorated Rolodex cards, I thought that was weird..... Until I did a search for artsy rolodex - Whoa!  There are so many people that do this and many more designs.  These people are very serious about their craft.  I looked around to get some ideas and came back to what I know.  I know how to use stamps, ink and paper.  So here is what I came up with.

I used regular size rolodex cards.  I actually glue three cards together for my base because one single card wasn't study.  I also used two new Stampin' Up! stamp sets that I was able to get with my pre-order - Celebrate Sunflowers and Tasteful Touches, as well as Band Together in which I choose the perfect sentiment.  The background stamp was from Tasteful Touches and the flower itself was from Celebrate Sunflowers.

I stamped over 25 sunflowers knowing that I wanted to put 3 on each card.  I used my blends to color and also applied a list mist of shimmer paint to give a soft sparkle to the flowers.

Listed below are the products I used to make my swaps.

I can't wait to see what my next project will be.  I will post it here to share with you. Hope you enjoyed my post.  I would love to hear from you.  Let me know what you think.  Until then Stay Safe.
