Throwback Thursday!

It is Throwback Thursday! I recently was given a lot of older Stampin' Up! stamps and I am loving them!  Going through and finding such gems.  This On the Farm Set from 2002 is just one of them.   Isn't it the cutest?  So fun and whimsical.  I had to use it to make a thank you card for the woman who  so lovingly gave this to me.  She called me because she knew that I would take her stamps in when she no longer had room for them. How about the farmer and his cow?  I love it.  I paired it with a current sentiment from Biggest Wish stamp set.   If you are not currently working with a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I would love to work with you.              See Calendar of Events:  https://tinyurl.com/2p9xxhah Shop the Clearance Rack:  https://tinyurl.com/yc6yaeru Sign up for Newsletter:    https://tinyurl.com/y5xd8752 Join    me on Facebook:   https://tinyurl.com/y5zcvr47 Follow me on Instagram:   https://instagram.com/notesfrompatience/ Shop 24/7:  https://tinyurl.com/y6nckr6a F

Love Never Fails By the Bay DSP Home Decor piece

It is Wednesday.  I love the look of this paper for this small Home Decor piece.  I had it on display at Easter.  I think it turned out perfect.  It is a very good deal and you are getting FREE paper!! This Home Decor piece features By the Bay Designer Series Paper and I incorporated a retiring stamp set and punch.  I just couldn't help myself.  A Fish and a Wish.  I love how this turned out.   I used Night of Navy for the 6-1/2 Base and I added a layer of Balmy Blue.  Then I took a piece of the By the Bay Designer Series Paper and cut it into 1-1/2 inch squares and pieced it back together to make it look almost "Mosaic".  A friend described it as a small "sampler" even though it is showing the same paper.  I then took foil paper a punched the fish and added it to the paper. Simple Simple Simple.  Just another way to use this paper with an added touch of the gold foil!! Seaside Bay Stamp Set can be used to make several types of cards because of the different s

I used an embossing folder on Night of Navy and it made a beautiful first layer. For the outlining image of the Calypso Coral crab in the center is Calypso Coral card stock cut at 1/4 larger!  Just the smallest detail can make a simple card very appealing.  Seaside Bay Stamp Set can be used to make several types of cards because of the different sentiments that are in the set.  Here is the video of this class. Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Thank you For Everything Card!

Happy Thursday.  I am kind of sad today because one of my favorite colors - Pale Papaya - is Retiring.  Every 2 years our In-Colors Retire.  Sad to see it leave, HOWEVER, Stampin' Up! always brings new color to replace the out going colors.  Fabulous and Gorgeous and I can wait to share them with you!  Today's card features Pale Papaya - Yay! And once again, I am using the paper from Flowers & More Host Designer Series Paper. I used Calypso Coral for the outlining image of the flower and then Pale Papaya on the second stamp to fill in the image.  I really like how it turned out. The Sentiment is layer up on Stampin' Dimensionals using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Perfect punch for this sentiment. Color & Contour Stamp Set can be used to make several types of cards because of the different sentiments that are in the set.  This is a two set stamp set and can make your crafting fun and easy.  Below you can catch the live video replay for this class.
