I have loved all the new papers in the catalog.  This is a really good deal!  I had to take advantage of this before the sale is over.  

This past weekend, some friends and I got together in my newly designed craft space.  Christmas in July was on everyone's mind.  We were very ambitious and lots of hard work went into making the cards.  Each participant went home with a special gift bag in addition to the cards and gift tags that they made! I want to call my new space my studio but that sounds really strange, so for now it doesn't have a name.  My daughter moved to her own place and left me with 2 empty rooms in the house. I am in LOVE with this stamp set from the new 2016 Stampin' Up! catalog.  I love the new Fruit Stand Suite - Fresh Fruit & Flowers.  I created the same set of cards yesterday with Peaches.  Today is the Pears, a few strawberries and Lemons.  I am always in need of thank you gifts or cards.  I have a treat bag with a set of 5 blank cards and topped off with a thank you tag.  I loved making this so much, Next I am creating something with the Strawberry stamp.  I love how Stampin' Up1 makes it so easy to coordinate by creating designer specialty paper to go with this stamp set.  It made my choices of colors easy.   Yet again, another reason that I love Stampin' Up!

If you haven't looked at page 148 and 149 in the new 2016 Stampin' Up! catalog, then you are in for a treat!  I love the new Fruit Stand Suite - Fresh Fruit & Flowers.  I am always in need of thank you gifts or cards.  I decided to make a set of 5 blank cards and gift them in a treat bag with a thank you tag.  I loved making this so much, I am going to make 3 more sets, One Strawberry, One Flower and One Pear.  I may even squeeze a little lemon in there!     And Oh How Cute They Are.  Especially when you pair them with the Fruit Stand Designer Series paper that is shown on page 173 of the catalog. I am Diggin' this Retro Stamp set Marquee Messages.  The retro look of this set is so cool.  Doesn't this just scream "Throw Back". The color combinations helps so much to make this stamp set unique.  Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky, Melon Mambo and Basic Black.   Our CEO of Stampin' Up!, Sara Douglass, demonstrated this stamp set at the Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention. We even received this stamp set for free during Prize Patrol at convention.  The Marquee is stamped in basic black archival ink onto  W hisper white cardstock and then cut out. Then it is stamped again onto Melon Mambo and then again on Tempting Turquoise  and cut out the pieces then attached back onto the whisper white stamped image.  The colors of the sign are done with an aqua painter dipped in the lid of an inkpad. Host a card class for me with your friends and I can take care of the rest.  I can provide the make and take cards that will be created, the snacks, I can even provide the place.   This cute card was created using the Hostess Stamp Set called  "Time of Year".  You can't purchase this set because it is only available to anyone who hosts a party or has an order of $150 or more. Family.... Webster's Definition is simply a group of people who are related to one another.  To me, family is every thing.  Life is fleeting and it is for this very reason that my family is my WORLD. Recently, my two young adults and I, went on a road trip from Arkansas to Florida.  Florida is a destination that we have come to in the past and is a very familiar place for us.  Our week was full of fun, shopping, beaching and good food. My two young adults!  Abbey is 24 and Will is 17.  I am so Blessed. This is my family!  Thank you Lord for my family.   For the past 3 family vacations, my son's best friend, Joe has come with us.  Such a wonderful addition to our family vacations. My Son Will and his best friend, Joe Thank you for letting me brag a bit.   Did I mention that I was Blessed?

This is such an adorable stamp set.  "Baby Bear" is the name of this set and it is so cute.  Its also a "3 step" stamp set. That means that the stamp is "layered." It is designed this way to add color, detail and dimension. The layers are stamped on top of each other starting with the lightest color of ink and ending with the darkest color. Bear is stamped in Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe and Chocolate Chip ink colors.  There are 3 stamps that make up the bear.  The stamped image is layered on top of each other in the order listed. The bow was stamped in Pink Pirouette and Flirty Flamingo. To make this cute card,  use Pink Pirouette and Flirty Flamingo as well as Very Vanilla cardstocks. The ribbon is the new Flirty Flamingo ruched ribbon.  The Ruched Ribbon is new this year and is quickly becoming my favorite. We had such a fun time.  Pink Paradise Party! We learned a few new things and used the Pop of Paradise Stamp Set and incorporated the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper, Think Baker's Twine in Melon Mambo with matching washi tape!.
