Birthday Album

I found myself wondering what I could make for my daughter for her 26th birthday.  Well, I made her a birthday card and went a little over the top with it. I love it and she did too.  I wanted to share with you the video of her card but I couldn't upload it to the blog.  So.
Here is a link to the card. Daughter's Birthday Card

Waterfall Card Tutorial
I Love "My Sister Scrapper".  Her video tutorial is Just what I needed to get started on my special project.  I followed step by step as the video instructed - however - I used ALL Stampin'Up! products and in place of the medium chip board, I used 12 x 12 cardboard that comes in a 12x12 DSP pack of paper.  The Cardstock I used was also Stampin'Up! and was a heavy weight cardstock.  This gave the album that needed strength.

Arkansas Adopt-A-Vet Service Project

Hello Everyone.  I am so thrilled about the pictures on my post today.  6 of my stamping friends got together with me last night to make cards for homeless veterans here in central Arkansas.  It was a labor of love and we had fun making them.  This is only the second time that I have done this and each time we have been able to make about 100 cards to give to Arkansas Adopt-a-Vet Non-Profit.  We not only made the cards, each recipient will have a note of encouragement written inside.  So excited that I am able to do this!
Just take a look at our fun!

Thanks for stopping in to see what we are doing!  God Bless and Remember

Peaceful Reflection

This photo of this set in the new Stampin Up catalog, doesn't do it much justice. Its really a sweet and lovely set. When I purchased this set, I wasn't very sure about it (because of the photo in the catalog).  It really came to life, once I put ink to it.
I don't normally use this color combination. I'm not really a fan of green/orange together, but I stepped out of my box and just went with it

I used one of my new Favorite Colors - Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch and Mossy Meadow. I know that these color sound kinda crazy together, but it is all over beach decor these days. (I was recently at the beach with my family)  and yes, I used the new Balmy Blue for the water.

The designer paper is from the new In Color paper pack and I also used whisper white, mossy meadow and granny apple green cardstocks. Can you see the grapefruit grove faceted dot on the dragonfly?  I love it.

Rooted In Nature Bundle by Stampin' Up!

Rooted in Nature Suite is located on mages 142-143 of your new catalog.  Take a look at this video. It is a masterpiece and I can help you create that perfect card, scrapbook page or memory with this wonderful suite of products.

Just take a moment to see these cool cards made and imagine the cards that you can make by changing a color ink or card stock here and there.

Here is a card that I made for a recent swap with my team.  Below I will have listed everything I used to make this card.  How cute is this.  Be Strong, Be Happy, Be You.  It can be used for an encouragement care or even that upcoming birthday for a dear friend.
