Party Hat - Retiring Stamp Set

I had to show you the Party Hat Birthday stamp set and coordinating bundle, before it retires at the end of May. Its such a unique set and once you see it, you'll know why. I used some fun, bright birthday colors for this card. The stamp set is a one, two or three step stamp set.  I chose to stamp all three layers of designs on the hat. Each stamp layers over the other and fills in the empty spaces. So, as you can see here- the 3 different colors that I used are actually the 3 different stamps in the set.  The melon mambo images are all on one stamp, the lemon lime twist images are all on one stamp and the pumpkin pie images are all on one stamp. So as I stamp each color, I fill in the party hat.  The dies cut out the images in the hat too.
I used the coordinating cardstock colors of melon mambo and lemon lime twist as well as basic black and whisper white. The glimmer paper is from the Myths and Magic glimmer paper pack- which is also retiring.
I stamped the gift box in melon mambo…

Color ReVamp!

Wow!  Our Colors are Evolving Variety?  We have it!  I love it that Stampin'Up! is on top of color trends across different markets and industries.  When they see changes happening, they review the color spectrum to ensure that we - as demonstrators can remain consistent and on top of the trends.  So. We have a Color ReVamp.DETAILS -There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics. In order to keep the color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, SU moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection. They have also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!
Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections below. You can refer to the old and new color charts in the 2018-2019 catalog. These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections. F…
